Rio Vista Sharks

The Rio Vista Sharks are happy no announce lap swim at the Delta Simonsen Swim Center. Amidst all the chaos of 2020, we are ecstatic to have some sort of normalcy. We know this isn't ideal - with no open, recreational swim, but we are hoping that something is better than nothing. Beginning Monday 7/27, the pool will open at 12 and close at 4 each weekday. Saturdays will begin its hours noon to 6. Sundays will also be from 12 to 4. The poor air quality is sad in many aspects! On a deeper level, our thoughts are with everyone and all the loss in our areas from the fires. On a simpler level, we will be keeping the pool closed this weekend (August 22nd & 23rd). We feel it safer, for both our community swimmers & our lifeguards, to stay out of the bad air this weekend! You can be rest assured that we still have two weekends open coming soon! We hope to be open both August 29th & 30th and September 5th & 6...th! Stay healthy Rio!

With school starting this week, we are sad to say that our week day lap swim has come to an end! But don’t fret, each weekend (Sat & Sun) through 9/6 you can still reserve a lane and enjoy this beautiful view!
