Did you know that there is a lake at Ride to Walk* where you can enjoy catch-and-release fishing from sun up to sundown for $5 a pole? This 6 year old fisherman caught a nice bass! *Ride to Walk is located at 1630 Highway 193 in Lincoln, CA

Here are photos of him as a colt (loo...k at how broad his shoulders are-- and those knees!!), an adolescent Mike just hanging out in the field and more recently showing his strength pulling that wagon (the smaller horse "helping" him is his mother). --Isn't he a handsome boy?! Wendy is working with him now, and he is looking forward to the day he can meet our Riders. *The Ride to Walk Program hasn't reopened yet, but stay tuned as we're hoping to soon! See more

Ride to Walk is seeking a full-time Ranch Hand at beautiful, 22 acre, 24 horse equine center in Lincoln. Requirements are: Since this position requires HEAVY labor, Qualified applicants must be able to lift 50-120 lbs, move bales of hay, etc. Must be experienced with ranch care, working around horses, stable care, maintenance. Must be honest, reliable and have excellent work ethics. You should feel comfortable working independently or in a team. To be considered for this position, make sure to include a cover letter (letter of introduction) telling us about yourself and your previous ranch experience, along with your resume! Ride to Walk currently has two paddocks available for horse boarding! Our beautiful, serene ranch is located on 21 acres, has a tack room, a wash area and each ...paddock has a covered area for your horse. There are two feedings per day. We have an indoor arena, two Round Pens and access to trail riding. If you or someone you know is interested, please call Terry Campbell, our Facility Director, at (916) 521-4729.
