Today, I sent in my first letter of opposition to the state. AB 828 seeks to relieve rent for individuals affected by COVID-19. I could not support that concept more. What I can’t support is the loophole it creates for tenants who are seeking to exploit the system. I am not a faceless corporate building. For some, this is part of people’s livelihoods.
