What do you do when all of your offers get rejected? You make more offers!!! And likely you pivot and expand to more areas. Here are four texts from one of my realtors on the last four offers we have made. This is the part of #realestateinvesting game that isn’t as publicized or talked about as much as our #wins. But it’s a very real part of the game that happens to more investors than you’d think. The silver lining is that we don’t buy homes emotionally and therefore, these... rejections are not as bad as when you make an offer on your dream home and you get outbid. However, these rejections can begin to take a toll when we see our peers, our colleagues, or our favorite REI IG pages making great strides. It’s easy to compare ourselves to their success and think that maybe we’re not cut out for this...maybe this was a mistake...maybe they have a secret set of skills that we don’t have! Feelings of discouragement, impostor syndrome, uncomfortableness, and wanting to quit ensues. Sound familiar? That’s when it’s most important to push through! Don’t give up, don’t compare yourself to others; compare yourself to yesterday’s version of you. Are you bettering your skills? Are you submitting new offers? Are you pivoting and searching for new areas to invest in? You only fail, when you quit. Otherwise, you’re just refining and forging your skills. BOOMThis flip was on the market three days and we had to put a hold on the viewings because my realtor was going to go insane with all of the attention, request for viewings and offers, this house received! As we sat reviewing offers, my realtors phone was literally ‘ringing off the hook’ of agents asking if they could please go view it and write an offer despite our hold on the viewings. We received many multiple cash offers that were above asking on top of conventional,... FHA and VA offers!
