Hey everyone! After serving at our church here in Lomita for the past 8 years it's time for us to turn the reins over to someone else, and allow God to take the... youth ministry at Calvary to the next level. God spoke to both our hearts and our senior Pastor's recently and we knew now was the time for that transition in ministry. My family and I will be moving to Flagstaff, AZ next month to pursue campus ministry there at Northern Arizona University, with Canyon Ministries, and also in the area of creation evangelism. We are hoping to really grow and develop the creation science ministry we started 5 years ago and are excited to see where God leads us with the Genesis Creation Science Institute. We would really covet your prayers and support, as a great deal of this is stepping out in faith and following God's leading and direction. I will be sharing this Sunday in the morning service, and the church will be having a going away lunch afterwards there at Calvary Assembly of God - Lomita, CA It would mean a lot to us to see you all there! Especially any of our church family and students we've come to know and love during our time here.
Calling all RevoYouth Students; Past and Present: Join us this Sunday as we say farewell to the Loper Family. After 8 faithful years of dedication to our church, their time at Calvary is coming to a close. Pastor Nate will be speaking during the Sunday morning service at 1030am followed by a potluck luncheon in the gym. Please make sure to be there as we say goodbye and show our appreciation for all the hard work and love they have given us.
