Clinic’s corner at Pet Friends and Rescue We had so much fun giving health checks to these kittens. They all got vaccines and medication for fleas and worms. Thank you to our kittens for being patient and to our wonderful staff and volunteers for their hard work. These kittens are not available for adoption yet but will be soon. They are waiting for their spay and neuter appointments once they get a little older. Stay tuned.

We would like to say thank you to everyone who is supporting Pet Friends and Rescue. We are happy we have you and always appreciate your help. Without your support we wouldn’t have been able to help animals and kittens like Charcoal. The Kitten Charcoal came to us from Hollister. He was covered in lice and was very skinny. He had eyelid irritation where his eyelid turned in a little due to the irritation but it resolved with the treatment. We put in temporary stitches to pull his eye lid away from the cornea. Now, Charcoal is a happy and healthy kitten that loves to spend time with people. A few days ago, Charcoal got adopted by a wonderful family. Pet Friends loves to make a difference in animal’s lives and we’re happy to continue to do this

We love good updates This kitten was adopted from us a couple of months ago. Our volunteers are trying hard to help kittens in San Benito county and our rewards are to see happy updates.

We have Ringworm These are our new neonatal kittens that just came to our foster care. Please help them to recover and feel better. Ringworm is not a worm. It’s a highly contagious, fungal infection. Sometimes It takes from 4 plus weeks to treat Ringworm. Many times, kittens like these are euthanized at shelters. Veterinary care is not cheap and we are asking for donations to help these kittens to cover our vet bills. With Covid 19, we are trying hard to help kittens in need .
