Redwood Coast Music Festival 07.07.2021

Appearing at Redwood Coast Music Festival in 2021 one of the most respected traditional jazz musicians and band leaders in the country Clint Baker. Baker is a powerhouse multi-instrumental musician performing on cornet, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, saxophone, guitar, banjo, tuba, string bass, drums and vocals. Clint Baker’s Jazz Band is a collection of some of the finest and most recognized traditional jazz musicians in the country accompanied by some of the most talented... rising jazz stars. However, just because you see one set don’t think that you’ve seen this band. This band is traditional improvisational jazz at its highest levels. Every musician is a multi-instrumentalist and the lineup changes with different musicians joining in each performance - a tribute to the reputation and expert leadership of Clint Baker. Appearing during the weekend with the Clint Baker Jazz Band at Redwood Coast will be Nate Ketner, Sam Rocha, Katie Cavera, Riley Baker, Jessica King, Ryan Calloway. Joining in with them during the weekend will be a variety of special guest artists making each set a unique traditional jazz experience. An enthusiastic welcome back to Clint Baker!

We're excited to welcome back one of our favorite musicians, award-winning vocalist, instrumentalist and songwriter Curtis Salgado! Curtis Salgado, the man NPR calls an icon with a huge voice, is revered worldwide for his ability to wring every ounce of soul out of every song he performs. Salgado is famed not only for his powerhouse live shows and his eleven albums, but also for his passionate and insightful original songs. He has won TEN Blues Music Awards including th...e B.B. King Entertainer Of The Year, Soul Blues Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Soul Blues Male Artist Of The Year. DownBeat calls his songwriting skills an impressive gift. Billboard says Salgado’s music is inspired and powerful. Now, after 40 years of recording, performing, touring and songwriting, Salgado is back with Damage Control, his first full band album in four years, and it’s packed with fresh, original material. Curtis' relationship with Eureka dates back to the 1980's and every single show has been a memorable experience. This year he's coming with his full band for what we know will be highlight event on Friday Oct 1, 2021.
