Here is some timely pastoral help from our bishop Todd on this Election Day. "If you have been bludgeoning yourself for experiencing anxious fear these past weeks and months, give yourself a break. The rhetoric surrounding the 2020 election cycle has purposely induced fear. Candidates and their handlers know that fear is a stronger motivation to vote than positive enthusiasm. Rather than working directly against your fretfulness, can you find a few minutes of grace-based silence and solitudeand catch your breath? How might you create a bit of space to reflect on the good companionship of God in 2020?" Click to read more of this helpful letter.
