IT'S TOO HOT! Because we are still seeing people walk and hike their dogs we are sharing these as a reminder! It's too hot everywhere to be walking your pets... most of the day right now. Please leave them home and do not leave them in your car while running errands! Remember to test the sidewalk or trail.. if it's too hot for your bare feet then it's too hot for them! Also, check on your elderly neighbors and their outdoor dogs as well. They may need a reminder about needing more shade and water bowls out right now. Lastly, the wildlife could use some extra water during these heatwaves so make sure to fill up your birdbaths and/or leave a low sided bowl filled with water outside for birds, squirrels, stray dogs & cats, etc. Thank you!!
