Mission Trails Regional Park - I don't normally do much hiking and probably you wouldn't call this is a hike but today I decided to walk up to open field over Mission Dam. Still lots of Fall colors making you feel like you're in the back country.

Allen's Swamp Monkey - San Diego Zoo This monkey is a rather strongly built animal. Its skin is grey-green at the top side. Its face is reddish with long hair bundles at the cheeks. The slight webbing of the fingers and toes point to its partially aquatic way of life. Allen's swamp monkey can reach a full body length from 45 to 60 cm, with a roughly 50-cm-long tail. Males, weighing up to 6 kg, are substantially larger than the female

Composite image of the California Tower at Balboa Park By the time I had gotten to the right spot for the sunset the color had already faded into the marine layer so this sky replaced the original

Swelling from tender bud to full bloom, flowers are associated with youth, beauty, and pleasure. But as they wilt and die, flowers represent fragility and the swift passage from life into death

Sometimes you get the good but then you end up with the bad. Originally, my not too sunny sunset from above Scripps Pier from last night but with a little editing such as in the lower image some colors can be brought out not allowing it to look so flat.

Yay, I finally made it down to hospitals in La Jolla for sunset. More clouds would have been nicer but still happy to get out with the camera especially at the beach. Sunset - Hospitals Reef - Tidepools - La Jolla

PACING The most common reason big cats, like tigers, lions, panthers, etc, tend to pace back and forth when they are in their enclosure because they are stressed or they know it's feeding time. I love the BIG CATS as anyone can tell since I've done 3 blended/textured images of them after learning this method. Enjoy!
