Fund-a-Need: Animal Safehouse Program Kennels Meet sweet Hazel, she is happily reunited with her person thanks to the Animal Safehouse Program. Since 1997 the program has provided temporary emergency pet boarding for domestic violence victims. It’s a safety net so they can get the help they need while their pet is cared for.
