Thursday night, HUD announced FHA Loan Limit increases for 2018. In high-cost areas, the FHA's loan limit ceiling will increase up to $679,650, from $636,150 this year. The floor will also increase from $275,665 up to $294,515 in 2018." An increase in loan limits means more buyers, with home values above the prior ceilings, will benefit from the qualifying flexibility associated with FHA loan programs.
