As we bring our first week of in-studio / mask-optional-for-vaccinated-folks classes to a close, we are reflecting on the lessons learned and would love to provide some words of encouragement for you if you are considering re-joining group classes. Fair warning: It’s weird. It’s really, REALLY weird. It’s not like, overwhelmingly weird, just palpably weird and we cannot stress this enough: GO ATYOUROWNPACE . There is no rush to make up for lost time or pick up ex...actly where you left off over 15 months ago. If you have been maintaining a regular fitness routine throughout this fever dream of a year, GREAT! But be patient with yourself as you acclimate to sweating it out with strangers in a dark room with pulsing music. It can be discombobulating initially but we are ALL in this together! Never forget that the person next to you, behind you, in front of you is experiencing the same strangeness as is your instructor. We continue to look forward to welcoming you into our home and treat you exactly like family when you visit. Reach out with any questions or for clarification on our policies.
