We regret removing the post last week from a typical Karen telling us she wasn’t going to buy two hand cremes in her cart because we got political in support of the USPS and mail in voting. We gave in on our convictions, deleted the post and to our true followers we apologize. Water seeks its own level and by self censoring we took a step back. By choosing to remove the post and depoliticize our platform , a platform that our priveledge contributed to, we inadvertently ...contributed to the horrific problems facing our friends of color in today’s world. We won’t make that mistake today or in the future. A hand creme isn’t worth it. A sale of a beauty product is not worth aligning ourselves with people who think it’s ok for black boys or men to be in danger on the street or for or our immigrant friends to be threatened by ICE while peacefully protesting. If you don’t like what we stand for, please please please find a company to support more in line with your antiquated views. Trust us, we aren’t going to retire from the soap that you buy. To our friends of color: we love you, we see you, we hear you, we stand with you AND WE WILL FIGHT WITH YOU.
