What a great day at theBio Med Show in San Jose . So many great people to catch u with say hello. I have to say I did receive some sad news today. A friend from across country came over to say hello. So often were busy and don’t get to do so. Twenty years ago I met Donna Tully and her Brother Dennis. Two really super nice people. Donna gave me a great introduction to the company her father and family. Was truly a nice visit. ... It got better as I met her brother Dennis, we quickly connected. Working in a family business as I had. Working with siblings as I had. Then quickly talking hockey. It was a cool connection. It was so many years ago yet it feels like yesterday. I would see Donna occasionally say hello and always ask how Dennis say day hello for me. Having a connection like family and a hockey history was awesome. Being a Bruins fan he would go off about his love. Funny connection my teammate growing up playing goal for the Bruins made an easy time for discussions . Adding My first coach was from Boston who I still talk to weekly. There was some fun bantering back an forth. But at the time being a Minnesota and Black hawks fan, we easily chatted it up. It’s been so many years since that time, life happens kids happen etc. today I asked how my cross country hockey friend was doing. My heart dropped and I felt such a loss, even though we hadn’t talked in a long time . I will say I was deeply moved and saddened by the news of his passing .Though it’s been months February since his passing. I feel compelled to say to his bride , children, family, friends I am deeply sorry for your loss. Truly a great son, husband, brother , father and friend. And goes without saying a great leader to his team and family at MTD. Miniature tool and die. My sincere thoughts and prayers with you all.
