Imagine sitting in front of this mature cypress tree on a hot summer's day, a cool breeze washing over you as you stare into the sea. You can hear the faint rhythm of the ocean relaxing the stress away. Alameda, is where Scott felt the inspiration to paint this ancient sentinel. Like the impressionist masters before him, he fervently painted to capture the days waning light that waved it's final colors in the sky and reflecting onto this lone tree as a farewell until tomorrow....
