Last Friday, children learned how to make a bouncy ball from regular materials found in a typically kitchen. They learned how the form and function of materials can chemically change. We are also sharing with you some Kodak moments that we typically have throughout the day, everyday.
Egg, larva, pupa and adult the four stages of the butterfly was the subject of the science project last Friday. It seems that the children enjoyed learning about butterfly. They did have a real live example of each stage of the whole cycle.

Last night RHS had "Back to School" meeting with parents and children. We would like to thank our parents who attended this event. Teachers presented to parents their plans for this year. The excitement among parents and teachers were very noticeable. We are excited and thankful for the opportunity to work with your children. Welcome to 2017 - 18 school year and let's make it a big successful year.
Easter Egg Hunt Yesterday the children had another of those most memorable days. Warm beautiful weather, combined by having fun outdoor, looking for all those colorful eggs. On top of that having all that yummy snacks. Children as well as parents and teachers had fun. We really appreciate the parents volunteers for helping with this event. We thank you parents for providing the delicious snacks. RHS teachers did a great job. Thank you teachers for another successful fun event.
Science Friday: Today we learned about air and how even though we can't usually see it, it is all around. We feel it if we blow on our hand and see it when we fill a balloon or watch moving air hold up our kites.
