And congratulations to Engineer McClendon on his recent promotion from Firefighter to Engineer. Their hard work and dedication to serve our community has not gone unnoticed.

Good Morning from the #BlueRidgeFire. 9180 along with crews from @santarosafirefighters @soco_local_1401 and @petaluma_firefighters assist with containment efforts in Orange County. As of this morning reports indicate around 30% containment with favorable weather conditions in the forecast.

Early this morning, Sergeant Gallo and Officer Cunningham assisted the Sheriff’s Office after a vehicle they were in pursuit of crashed on the freeway on ramp t...o 101 from highway 116. Once it was found that the driver and passenger were unarmed, Sergeant Gallo held the drivers head still until medics arrived and Officer Cunningham used a fire extinguisher to keep the engine from smoking. The occupants were eventually transported to the hospital with serious injuries, which could have been prevented, had they just pulled over. See more
