Here are pictures of our stuffed animals reaching Kenya and the School for destitute children. Thank you to all who have helped Loving Friends this past year with your stuffed animal drives and to Portola Cleaners for cleaning them for free. Sorry to see you close your doors. Also to Jeannine who supports the children in Kenya and delivered the stuffed animals to the children. We are looking for a new cleaners in the Mission Viejo area who would be willing to clean our "Friends" as a charitable donation. Let us know if you have any suggestions. We just picked up a big load of stuffed animals that were collected by Girl Scout Troop 5160 in Yorba Linda. We have over 100 usable "Stuffys" as they call them, which will go to children needing comfort. We are hoping that our partners will take some "Stuffys" to Puerto Rico in the near future. Thank you girls and to the leaders who put this together

Loving Friends just donated over 150 stuffed animals which will go to an orphanage in Uganda. We are now international!!! We need only 400 more stuffed animals and we will have enough for our first shipment with another partner who feeds 140,000 children in 13 countries. We won't have enough for all those children but it is a start.

Here is another family who helped Loving Friends by collecting stuffed animals. Read what Erica Bell has to say. "Every month my family chooses an organization or cause to work with. We have two boys (ages 6 & 8), so we have chosen projects that are both relevant and age appropriate for them. In order to help get our community involved in the city of Yorba Linda that we reside, I have gathered help from friends, family, as well as have encouraged others to participate from ou...r local elementary school (Fairmont Elementary). 12 families, including ours, collected stuffed animals to donate. Our family collected them at our house, and our boys sorted them to deliver to you." I want to thank the Bell family on behalf of Loving Friends and all the children who will be comforted by the stuffed animals they have collected.
