The one and only Lavone Barnett-Seetal passed away December 17 from cancer. Former choir director at Pasadena High School, she was an inspiration and mentor to so many students over the years. She always lit up a rehearsal with something way funny when things got too thick. After PHS she taught at APU, including leading their gospel choir, and pre-Covid toured the world as a back up singer to John Fogerty and some other bands.
