At Pure Barre Los Gatos, the health and safety of our members and our team is my top priority. Governor Newsom announced yesterday that the state will be following Regional Stay At Home Orders based off of ICU capacity thresholds. Earlier today, the Bay Area Region announced that they will begin the stay at home order beginning Sunday at 10PM. With the new order, outdoor fitness activities are able to continue so long as 6 feet of social distance can be maintained and with ...the additional mandate that masks must be worn 100% of the time. Earlier today I spoke with our teacher team to see how they felt about continuing our outdoor classes, and they remain committed to providing you with the ability to workout safely both in our Outdoor Classes and through daily Live Stream Zoom Classes available to take live or via recording. For our outdoor classes, each station already exceeds Santa Clara County's social distance guidelines of separation with 10 feet of distance between the edge of each mat side to side and 7 feet from the edge of each mat front to back. We will continue to check temperatures before being allowed to enter your station. We are adding additional safety measures including hand sanitizer between stations and will provide hand sanitizer as you enter and as you leave the space. Teachers will remain at their station for the duration of class. Masks will be required to remain on by all individuals even while working out to adhere to the newest mandates. As always, our hope is to make our classes as accessible as possible so that our community can enjoy Pure Barre safely and comfortably. I recognize this is a very fluid situation and as a team, we are prepared to respond to any changes in guidance from the SCC Health Department and the CDC.
