What could get all these chickens into such a tizzy, possibly a scavenger hunt? No it's a dried mealworm frenzy, it's a bit crazy, this behavior starts as soon as I bring the bag out to give them a quick treat.

Happy hens means a good crop of eggs today. When not in their next boxes they are enjoying indoor and outside spa time, with dust baths.

One of the things we have been doing over the last couple of months is developing a Carbon Plan that incorporates all the things we have done to date and looking for new ways to reduce and store carbon. At 111 here at the Ranch, the hens were all in a group taking advantage of the misters along the fence. Not so dumb after all.

Confrontation in the vineyard. An unusual sighting this morning a Skunk late back to its burrow getting curious looks from the goats which it ignored, but turned around on seeing Magic the llama.

It's an inside hens spa day. Not sure why as it's beautiful day outside.

A little sun bathing on a Sunday afternoon is chicken heaven.
