Just last week, Fannie Mae announced changes to enhance the appeal of their green financing products. Earlier this week, Freddie Mac released a new green financing offering known as the Multifamily Green Advantage. To be eligible for the Green Advantage, borrowers must perform a Green Assessment to identify energy and water conservation measures.
