Don't let work get in the way of doing some exercise! If you sit at a desk, set a timer... Get up and do a minute of squats... Stretch- walk-run up the nearest set of stairs. Think of it as "exercise snacks". Do 1 minute of exercise every 30', and cumulatively, it adds up to something. Better than "nothing".

Start a healthy habit today-- whether it be taking stairs vs. elevators or walking briskly 10'/day or doing a plank at the same time every day. So many disease processes can be prevented simply by healthy lifestyle choices and regular exercise.

Running makes me feel better. It's my meditation. What makes YOU feel better? If you have a vulnerable back, do you stretch? Do some core strengthening? How about a 20' walk in place of that 20' of TV? Do something pro-ACTIVE to feel better. Summer is here... Get outside and do something good for yourself and your body!

Here's a habit to integrate into your daily rituals: WATER. First thing in the morning, before that invigorating cup of coffee or tea, slug down a big glass of H2O. We tend to wake up on the dehydrated side, then continue that trend by drinking diuretics such as coffee or tea. WATER. Keep a bottle in your car, in your office, at your desk....You will be doing your body a favor.

Summer is RIGHT around the corner...do you have your training plan yet? Look at exercise as a "snack". If you only have 15 minutes, take a fast walk or drop down and do 20 push ups or 20 sit ups...DO IT!!!
