HAPPY NEW YEAR from ProActive Strength Training
On behalf of ProActive Strength Training, I wanted to thank Steve Colwell and Opti-Fit for reaching out to Atlantis Equipment to build these super sweet Farmer Walk bars with vertical posts to easily change out the weights without having to deal with collars. The bars are exceptionally balanced with their newer self leveling footing, which are surprisingly very stable on the ground. I like the high handles so you don't need to lift from the ground and the knurl handles are great for gripping. The pairs weigh 50lbs ea, super solid and as you would expect from Atlantis Equipment, they are very high quality. Thanks Opti-Fit

After all these years, we at ProActive Strength Training had our 1st professional photo shoot. Thanks Andrew Gallucci for taking up your Saturday to photo shoot the gym and thanks for the clients who volunteered to come and have their pictures taken. It means a lot and I really look forward to seeing the pictures! Andrew is one of the top real-estate photographers in the SF bay-area and hopefully he will find a new niche' in the fitness industry to add to his portfolio. I started the ProActive Strength journey over 3.5 years ago. Owning a business has had its rewards and challenges. My biggest challenge was finding time for myself. As my workouts slowly diminished to just testing out protocols, it became harder and harder to get out of the routine that I put myself in to. Yeah, I am a Personal Trainer, but I am also human, a dad and a new business owner. This 16 Week Challenge has been the most beneficial program that I could have done ...for myself. It forced me to get out of my rut, get focused and I am feeling a live again. I have gone from essentially 0 workouts a week to 6 workouts a week. I am only 5 weeks in, but I never want to go back to where I was 5 weeks ago. The accountability of the challenge with my clients observing my progress will keep my on track. At the end of the 16 weeks... I will remember what feeling good feels like again! Thank you for that! See more
