Happy Friday. It may seem unbelievable to you that Steve has just 22 open appointments left through the end of the tax season. This is because many many folks booked their 2021 appointments as they left my office last year. Since the meetings are contact-less this season no one gets to stop at our Admin's desk to secure their spot for next year. If you have been through already, you may want to go online to get a 2022 spot. DEVIOUS IDEA: If you have a spot in late March... or early April this year, you can go online now to get a jump on 2022 and get a February appointment. IMPORTANT INFO: The Feds will soon use your direct deposit info that they have on record to send your stimulus amount to you. And you'll learn soon that there will be a website to upload your bank info. Don't assume that they have your bank info. Many of you received a refund by direct deposit but it was the STATE only. If you owed the feds this year or in 2018, they don't have it. The bank info DOES NOT go up with the federal return when there is a balance due. So think hard on what transpired. We will honor your appointment time and complete your taxes in that time slot. We will ask any questions by email also. This is in light of this pandemic. If you want an in-person appointment that is entirely acceptable. We are taking extra precautions here. Folks, you know that waitlist feature on our booking app is pretty cool. And it is effective. For those of you who didn't get in, or have their appointment on as late as April 10th to 15th (or anytime for that matter), click on the waitlist clock to request as many days and hours as you want in the event someone cancels (as happens enough). When the time slot becomes available, it immediately notifies you, and you have 2 hours to confirm that you want that time. Again, it's working and it's going very smoothly.
