Promenade’s OFFICIAL Spooky Drive Tour Map! *PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS BELOW* THIS FRIDAY, October 30th from 6:30 to 8:30 - take a drive with your family and visit all the houses on the map above. 11 houses are included within the Promenade Elementary School vicinity. ... Make sure to look for the official Promenade Yard Signs at each location. As a bonus, if you visit all 11 houses, snap a photo, and send it to us... then you will be included in a drawing to win a gift card! The map above has a suggested route starting at Location #1, but feel free to take whichever route you prefer. To make it easier, here is the direct link to the google map with all the drop pins: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit -OR- Just plug in each address into your own navigation app. Please note that Location #11 off of Buchanan, has a Space# 141. Maps will navigate you to the general address, but the actual space will be on Happy Lane, which is the last street in the Mobile Home Park. After viewing all 11 houses above - if you and your family have more time and don’t mind driving just a tad bit further... please be sure to check out our BONUS Houses on the next map. (SWIPE ) These are 3 houses within our Promenade family who have volunteered to be part of our Spooky Drive Tour, but live just outside our general area. As always, we love our Promenade families and want to ensure everyone’s safety, so please make sure to social distance from other families if you end up at the same house, at the same time. Happy Sunday, Promenade Families! Hope you all had a great weekend! This post is just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is the start of Red Ribbon Week. Every day is a spirit day, and a chance to dress up to support the Red Ribbon Week campaign.... TOMORROW - Monday, October 26th - is ELECT to be Drug Free! We are asking students to wear red, white and blue. SWIPE to see the flyer that has the spirit days for every day this week. Also SWIPE to see the flyer about our Red Ribbon Week door decorating contest! Door Decorating Contest Info: Who wants a chance to win a gift card?!? Under normal circumstances, our teachers/staff & students all participate in a door decorating contest at school in order to help promote Red Ribbon Week. However, since we are currently not on campus, we have figured out a way to still allow this tradition to continue! We are asking families to decorate ANY door in the comfort of your own home! You may choose to incorporate this year’s theme: Be happy, be brave, be drug-free or you can decorate it however you’d like - as long as you promote the message of living a drug-free life! Once you are done decorating, snap a clear photo of your door, and email it to us at [email protected] no later than Thursday, 10/29. We will then post photos of all the doors on IG, FB & Class Dojo. People will be able to vote for their favorite door between Friday 10/30 to Sunday 11/1. The top 3 doors with the most votes/likes will win a gift card! Winner will be announced on Monday, November 2nd. Have fun, be creative & good luck to all of you!!!!

Hi Promenade Families! Here is another fun event for you to look forward to next week! For the first time ever, Promenade Elementary is also hosting a Spooky Drive Tour! We will be posting a scavenger hunt map on Monday, Oct. 26th. It will be a map of the streets surrounding our school, with specific houses you can drive to that have spooky or fall decorations. Each house will have the same Promenade Elementary yard sign, indicating that it is a participating house. ...We know this year is a bit off, but we figured this would be a fun and safe way to allow families to get out of the house, as you drive around together, looking for all of the houses on the map. As a bonus, you can snap a quick photo in front of each house and email them to us at [email protected] For those who visit every single house on the map, you will be included in a random drawing for a chance to win a gift card! In order to keep this as safe as possible, please make sure to social distance from other families while taking your photo, if you happen to be at the same house, at the same time. For the first time ever, Promenade Elementary School will be hosting a Virtual Costume Party!!! Join us NEXT THURSDAY, October 29th at 6:30pm via ZOOM for tons of fun!!! Although it is not required, you can come dressed in your costume. We will be giving out gift card prizes to the best costumes in various different categories! ... Our MAIN ROOM will consist of music, dancing & a scavenger hunt. We will also have 3 different breakout rooms (two 15-minute sessions each) that your child can join! These breakout rooms include a fun drawing tutorial, spooky stories & yummy no-bake treats. Each of these rooms will be led by one of your very own teachers/staff members!
