Friends after today’s announcement by State Parks of further restrictions we have made the expected but nonetheless hard decision to cancel the 2020 Estero Kayak Challenge. We fully stand behind these restrictions in the effort to slow the Covid-19 spread and protect our fellow citizens, friends, and family members. We will be back! Estero Kayak Challenge Tournament update: We spoke with State Parks today regarding the Coronavirus and it’s effect on special events. Right now, today, the Estero Kayak Challenge is still on for Saturday, June 6 in Cambria, CA. But, things are changing extremely fast and State Parks is considering cancelling all event permits. With new restrictions going into place and events being cancelled we have decided to postpone registration until at least mid-April to see if special event permits will be honored or cancelled. Our first priority is the safety and well being of our participants. As things change we will continue to post updates.
