Some thoughts from Jess in case you wanted to read them : This was April 21st when I turned our dark blue spare room bright white and then made it a home studio. I have created a ton of art in here since then, hosted many virtual events, organized it and reorganized it 100 times and Betty and Amy won’t leave my side when I’m in there. On the cusp of the next shelter in place, I’m remembering that 1) I know nothing 2) everything I feared 8 months ago either happened or ...didn’t happen and none of it turned out the way I predicted 3) while I live by this too shall pass I also subscribe to I don’t want to miss a minute of it no matter what I am very grateful I have a business that is also my passion and I’ve been able to continue to do this in a virtual fashion. You all have kept this business going and I THANK YOU immensely. Not all of our friends and fellow business owners have been able to do that depending on the type of business they have. If you’re able to, shop small and local (we all dance when we get a sale ) , if you’re struggling I’ve found that helping others in any way big or small is a loving and productive way to get out of fear, don’t feel like you need to being doing or feeling anything different than how you are. Stay tuned for more complimentary live paint parties, random IGTV thoughts and pop up tutorials and ramblings via social media. Let’s stay connected creatively. I love you.
