PD Fridley had a blast participating in the 2020 Special Olympics this past month. They had 87 drivers show up for the convoy this year raising money for the Special Olympics. ProDrivers had a driver, Jim Kroschel who borrowed a truck from Midwest Motor Express. Past PD drivers included Trampus McDonald and Steve Berwald. Kim Heins (Fridley Market Leader) rode with a Halvor Lines driver this year. The SO Athletes were sad they couldn’t ride with the drivers this year due to COVID 19 safety precautions, but they still came out to see the event and had a fun poster contest instead. Law enforcement was amazing as always. Nice work PD Fridley family. Great time doing great things.

Earlier this month, TAT hosted it's first free, one-hour, live online training designed especially for the truck stop and travel industry plaza. TAT has been w...orking with the truck stop and travel plaza industry for many years, seeking to engage management through training opportunities at the Coalition Builds (CB) and by encouraging them to use TAT training for all employees, said Esther Goetsch, TAT's Coalition Builds director. We have built some strong partnerships in this industry over the years but have always struggled to reach the thousands of independently owned or regionally owned and operated locations. People in this industry work long, hard hours and have difficulty getting away from their stores to attend an in-person training. We believe this training will fill that gap."
