In light of recent surges in COVID-19 cases across the nation, we wanted to reach out to assure you that our team shares everyone’s concerns around the ongoing precautions health care providers like ourselves are following. As health care professionals, nothing is more important to us than protecting the health and well-being of our patients, staff and community. In an effort to protect our patients, doctors, staff and community, we’ve put into place the below safety featur...es and protocols. Pre-Screening: All patients will be asked several screening questions prior to coming in for appointments and temperatures will be checked upon arrival. Elevated infection control: We elevated our infection control standards in accordance with new guidelines from the CDC and local health officials, including thorough disinfection of treatment rooms/tables, equipment, instruments and supplies as well as all high touch contact surfaces throughout the clinics. We’ve also installed Plexiglass barriers at all check-in areas. Continued Staff Training: Our entire staff underwent (and continues to be updated as appropriate) extensive safety training to practice enhanced precautions to limit COVID-19 exposure based on company protocols. We remain up to date as new guidelines are released and will engage in ongoing training as needed. PPE for All Staff: You’ll see our protective gear has been enhanced in accordance with the CDC and local health official recommendations, including surgical masks, gloves and face shields/eye protection (as appropriate). Still feel like staying at home? Ask us about our telehealth program! Through our telehealth program, patients can connect with their licensed physical therapist through a secure, HIPAA compliant, easy to use live video conferencing tool. Call us today! We remain firmly focused on the safety and well-being of our patients and staff. And, we are committed to helping everyone maintain all their physical care needs.

The number of Americans needing physical therapy care has gone up tremendously this year. And unfortunately, Medicare is about to impose devastating payment cuts that will make it much harder for patients to access PTs and PTAs to get the physical therapy care they need. Already, with your help, the APTA has reported 25,000 letters were sent to Medicare opposing the 9% cut. Thank you! However, we still need you to ask Congress to pass legislation that will prevent the 9% cut.... With the current instability in the health care system, now is not the time to reduce payment to providers under the Medicare program. If you know someone on Medicare, ask them to spend 2 minutes to ask Congress to stop CMS's proposed cuts. They can do this by visiting the link below. https://www.apta.org/FightTheCut #FightTheCut

Today kicks off National Physical Therapy Month (NPTM) - a time to celebrate the amazing work done by our physical therapists to restore and maintain function, and improve people’s lives without using potentially harmful and addictive medication. This month also gives us an opportunity to raise awareness of physical therapy as a safe, effective alternative route to medication such as opioids for treatment of chronic pain conditions. PT is the safer way to manage pain. Help us celebrate NPTM by sharing a review about your physical therapy treatment at our clinic - individual shoutouts are highly encouraged #ChoosePT #NPTM2020 #ditchtheopioids #PTRocks
