Tenants have 45 days to complete the confidential survey, which ends Jan. 15.

Holiday PX Hours

In support of Veterans Day this year, PRFTA will be creating a Veterans Day graphic illustration/digital photo slideshow of PRFTA Veterans. We are requesting photos of PRFTA Veterans. Submissions can be of active duty servicemembers, current or past employees and/or family members (immediate or extended family).... If you are sending a picture, please include a brief identification of your Veteran. Identification include Name, Service Branch (and dates of service if known). The Veteran’s picture does not need to be in uniform. If you don’t have a picture just send the information about the Veteran you want us to recognize. PRFTA PAO will stitch together pictures and ID into a video to be shown on PRFTA’s Facebook Page on Nov. 11 Veterans Day. Send submissions to PRFTA PAO at [email protected] Subject line PRFTA Veteran Salute. Please submit your pictures and information by Nov. 9.

Parks Reserve Forces Training Area Celebrates Halloween Parks Reserve Forces Training Area housing residents celebrated Halloween Oct. 31 with Pick or Treat. Children and their parents donned their costumes for a socially-distanced and responsible Halloween event among the housing units.

National Drunk & Drugged Driving Prevention Month, or National 3D Prevention Month, is an annual designation observed in December. If you’re home or traveling during the holidays, you may be planning to go to a few parties, get-togethers, or even just to have a few drinks with the family. If you have been drinking or are under the influence of drugs, do not operate a vehicle. Remember, you are committing the crime of impaired driving whenever your ability to operate a vehic...le is impaired by effects of illegal drugs, prescription medication, over-the-counter medication, or a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.08 grams per deciliter or higher. If you are taking part in activities like this month, or EVER, do not make the mistake of getting behind the wheel. It could cost you or someone else their life. So, why now? The time between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day is described by the National Association of Drug Court Professionals as One of the deadliest and most dangerous times on America’s roadways due to an increase in impaired driving. This month we are all encouraged to drive sober, and defensively.

Public Safety Power Shutoff event The city of Dublin has informed Parks Reserve Forces Training Area that due to severe weather conditions forecasted Sunday, areas of Dublin south of PRFTA and possibly areas of PRFTA will be without power beginning Sunday night with the possibility of the shutoff extending to Wednesday morning. Please make preparations for the loss of electricity if PRFTA housing is affected by this power outage. Pacific Gas and Electric (PGE) conducts Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) during severe weather conditions to prevent wildfires caused by power lines being knocked down or damaged."
