FRIENDLY REMINDER: 5/8/14 PRD International has determined a gear plate guard must be installed as a safety precaution to all PRD 125cc Fireball engines currently in the field. PRD-USA will issue the factory supplied guards to the engine owner free of charge. The new gear plate guard is easily installed between the chain guard and the engine. It is the opinion of PRD International and RLV/PRD-USA if gear plate failure occurs it could cause damage or injury. Possible failure may occur as a result of improper removal, improper installation or inadequate maintenance. See Technical Bulletin #18 and the "recommended maintenance schedule" included for specific information.

Trophies were handed out on the IZOD IndyCar front straight, on display to the fans awaiting the start of the MAVTV 500. The stage was set on top of the IZOD series hauler used for the driver introductions.

Many of the racers and teams stayed to enjoy the MavTV 500 after the event.

The top three finishers and their guests got a garage tour on the way to the podium presentation.
