We hired an acoustician to analyze our control room. Matt and I followed his recommendations and spent 2 weeks on construction. Our room correction software hardly has to do anything now!

We have completed construction of our new Foley recording studio located in Los Angeles, CA. At over 1,350 sq/ft, this is one of the largest Foley stages in the world! We have a 100 sq/ft dirt pit and a 700 gallon pool for realistic water effects. Our stage has finely tuned floor surfaces and a curated selection of props, many of which have rich histories from their days on old studio lot stages. Lee Bartolomei was our acoustic architect on this project. Over the last 30 yea...rs, Lee has designed rooms for companies including Universal Studios, Disney, Skywalker Sound, Apple and Google. The studio is located in a secluded area far from any roads or neighboring sound sources. The unique acoustic construction, gives our stage an STI rating of 66 dB, on top of being isolated inside of a warehouse...meaning it is super quiet.
