13 years ago. I got a call from a very good friend saying she wanted to buy her husband a heifer for Christmas. I was going to the exposure sale in Oklahoma tha...t fall of 2006 and found the perfect fit. I’m very proud and honored to have worked with the Porter family all these years and have watched David mate this female all sorts of ways to build an entire cowherd around. Carney Girl has made numerous champions for his family and their customers. This group of heifers that we have the privilege of selling with the Porter family are just an example of what just one female can do when you have the right vision. Thank you David Porter and Lori Porter for giving me the opportunity to find her and also allowing us at Broken M/Sutter Buttes Livestock such great offspring to market. Its been a heck of a ride!

Congratulations Brody and Leo family for having such a successful 2 weeks of showing. Res. Progress @ Fresno States Red Wave Classic and 5th overall in both rings @ Cal Poly's Western Bonanza Livestock Show. The steer is a FMC out of out 659S donor. Thanks for putting in the time Leo/Simon&Newton.
