Pooch Hotel Sunnyvale

We’re sad to announce that the Pooch Hotel Sunnyvale location on Wolfe Rd is closed. For months we have been working on plans for the new location, but COVID-related delays have significantly derailed our timing. While we had hoped to remain open at Wolfe Road until we could finalize our plans for the new hotel, that is no longer possible as the building owner needs to move forward with their plans. While we continue exploring options for our long-term goals of a new state-of-the-art hotel, we are also in the process of negotiating a partnership with another local provider to offer a short-term solution for your daycare and boarding needs. We will share updates on timing and progress of the project on social media, and hope to stay connected virtually in the interim.

Today is Check the Chip Day! When you add a new pet to the family it is important to check if the animal has or needs a microchip. Most veterinarians offer microchipping services for less than $40 and many rescues include microchipping in their adoption fees. But having a microchip isn’t enough. It’s important to register the pet with your contact information and keep that information updated with current phone numbers, email addresses, and alternate contacts. We wanted to share the amazing work that our Paradise 4 Paws Midway location is doing in Chicago to help save homeless pets with Alive Rescue. For those of you that may not know, we have been very busy at our Paradise 4 Paws Midway location, where we’ve partnered with Alive Rescue to save homeless pets during the pandemic. We donated the use of our resort and they are providing the funds to employ our trained staff to care for these animals. Through this partnership, 38 animals were saved during April and the current budget includes an estimate of 30 saves during May!
