Ponies at the Pike

We tried. But it's time to let you know that our 24th Annual Ponies at the Pike and 1st Annual Shoreline Showcase shows have both been cancelled. Car Shows are currently included in the "Phase 4" segment of the California reopening plan. The State of California and City of Long Beach are currently in Phase 2. We tried to get a variance and while we hear there may some changes just after Labor Day, that's just not enough time to plan and execute - not one, but two car shows o...f this magnitude. Whether you are member or just love our car shows, thanks for being a part of the BCMC family. Hello Ponies at the Pike fans! We are getting ready to send out a pre-reservation offer to past participants. While we are not ready to take paid registrations for the two Sept 26 & 27 car shows, we are looking for participants that will agree to follow a few safety precautions. We will take this data to the City leaders to show we can present a safe, responsible event. Stay tuned and watch your inbox! #BCMC

Another Ponies at the Pike post show report from Mustang Connection. Long time attendee Edgar was a little late, and had to park in the Day of Show area (Fire Marshall is strict on the No Vehicle Movement rule). He was worried that his car would not get the visibility it deserved. Not so! First, we have all participants vote in the Day of Show Class (instead of the 1/3 fo the show for all other classes).
