IDEAS at UCLA is offering a FREE conference for immigrant youth and families this May 23rd! RSVP and spread the word!
Youth, families, and PNAC team-- do you remember the awesome time we had at Eaton Canyon this Spring? Wouldn't it be great if we could have tons of areas like that close to home? Wouldn't it be even greater to know that all those plants, animals, and natural spaces are safe so we could learn from them and continue to enjoy them? If you think so then I need you to be at this Tuesday August 26th community meeting! We need to let our elected officials know that the San Gabriel M...ountains are important to us and we want to continue visiting them safely. If you need transportation assistance, let me know :) Linett will be there! Si necesitas transportacion, dejame saber :) Linett estara alli! See more

Hey everyone! It's been a while! Our friends from San Gabriel Mountains Forever have invited the PNAC youth and families (and anyone else who wants to swing by) to be part of their promotional video. If you've got questions or have transportation issues, message us!
"A new reports finds the killings of environmental and land rights activists worldwide has tripled over the past decade. The group Global Witness documented 147 activists who were killed in 2012, compared to 51 in 2002. The death rate is now an average of two per week. Almost none of the killers have faced charges." Being a protector of the earth and a defender of human rights is no joke!
