After 5 rounds of Qualifying here at #streetcarsupernationals in Las Vegas we have been lucky enough to earn the Pole Position with a 5.54 elapsed time at 273 miles per hour. Here is one of our test runs from earlier in the week.

Well, we wound up the week making 13 total passes. Learned a bunch about what the car does not like. Learned a couple things it does like. Qualified on the bump with a 3.83 at just 210 after we broke our #1 differential and spare and had to put in our backup (different ratio) and repair a broken Anti Roll Bar and change to a non lockup converter. Those changes sent us chasing a new combo while trying to qualify for a very competitive field. We bowed out round 1 to event wi...nner Ron Muenks and we deserved it with a subpar 4.05. Later we were afforded the opportunity to run in the Slammers class which is a second chance race for those who DNQ or bow out of E1. We finally found the combo and put in a 3.78 at 212 effort which gave us a spark of hope even if it is still .08 off the pace. In all, we had an astounding week and met and dare we say began several new friendships with a who’s who list of Pro Mod style racing. We are both humbled and honored by the incredible hospitality and instant camaraderie of all of those in the Mid-West Drag Racing Series . We are headed home to race next month in Las Vegas at SCSN and then we plan to build an arsenal of equipment with the intention to come and race next year in this series and put in a proper showing with the best in the Midwest if not the world! After a season filled with bad news, we are excited to announce that we are finally going racing in 2020 this weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Throwdown in T-Town We are excited to get to race at all, but especially happy to have a chance to race amongst the best in the Mid-West and learn more about how to go fast with our car. It will be a formiddable challenge, particularly as our ace in the hole, Doug Stewart is not able to attend, but we hope to rise to the occasion a...nd do ourselves proud. Well the score at the end of Day 1 of SCSN 16 here in Vegas - we are currently sitting P2 with a 5.70 at 268 mph. As a bonus we finally collected $1000.00 in the Dash for the Cash event which awards the lowest ET of a Shootout for Pro Mod that does not count toward qualifying with a 5.59 at only 266 miles per hour. Q2 and Q3 take place tomorrow.

Well we can’t go racing, but we can at least make sure it still spools properly in the shop! With all this down time we figured its time to make sure we are good and ready when we are able to go race again. Stay safe everyone!!
