Next beach cleanup is Sat., Jan. 20, 10 a.m. at 1 Granada Ave. -- just before the Polar Splash. Can you invite friends and join us? Lots of debris on the beach following the recent rain storms. Let's get it all cleaned up. PS. Join the fun and run into the ocean after the cleanup during the annual Long Beach Polar Splash.
See you Jan. 20? Wear what you want! It can be in a nice costume, your jeans and t-shirt, your mittens and 2-piece bikini; your Speedo and parka; your board shorts and flip flops. It's your choice. This is not a swimming event. Dress to impress!
Our beach is a safer and cleaner place because of these volunteers at the 30-Minute Beach Cleanup.
