CHANGE IN THE AIR - A Most Stunning Display of Artivism The COVID-19 pandemic has both revealed and exacerbated some of the most pressing social issues of our time. While we live through this unprecedented moment, Poetic Kinetics is inspired to create an impactful artwork that encourages us all to actively engage in the most important group project of all-- shaping our shared future. What matters to you? What steps need to be taken to create a more ideal world? What can we ...do to change things for the better? What do you commit to now and tomorrow that ensures us all a better world? What do you expect or want from your government? Share your feelings to give a voice to this moment. Together, we will create an artwork that encapsulates the momentum of this time and creatively envisions a brighter future for everyone. Your words will be incorporated into our latest art piece, Change in the Air. How big the piece gets is up to you! Every message submitted will make this artwork larger in size. With your participation we’ll create a stunning representation of our collective voice; a symbol of hope and unity to mark this moment in time. When it’s safe, we’ll display this artwork in Washington D.C. You're invited! There are 3 ways to have your words included in this art piece: 1. The latest in our Skynet Series is Skyline Stream! Commissioned by @EmaarDubai, this piece displayed at Dubai Harbor Creek. With approximately 1600 linear meters of rope and over 200 hand-tied technical knots, this piece was rigged in a way to harness available wind allowing the artwork to undulate in a gorgeous, immersive display that appears to hang in midair.
