Tomfoolery (WOD) and pandemonium! Two words to describe the 3rd Annual April Fool's ESREVER (REVERSE) meeting today! I had the pleasure of serving as Toastmaster for a hilarious gathering. President Dara Connolly Opened the meeting with the Closing Announcements! Gagan, our General Evaluator prompted our functionaries to give the Timer, Grammarian and Ah Um Reports -- before the Speakers even spoke. ... Grammarian Dara really put our guest on the spot when she "praised" her for using the WOD 12 times in her speech - Lol. Shalini Suravarjjala was the master Table Topics Master! She then announced the winner of the favorite TT vote - our guest, Colleen McNeese - for using the WOD 12 times! ;) Lol. We had a fun full house with other guests too, including Lisa Ash and Makesh. Pat Griffin evaluated Vicki Hubbard's talk about "Who Let The Dogs Out?!" before the speech. Vicki then had to incorporate all of the good, bad and quirky comments into her speech! Overall, everyone did a fantastic job using their impromptu speaking skills. Phil capped the program by entertaining the whole kittenkaboodle with his ceremonial drum! Bravo!! Well done! Happy April Fool's Day to all!

This Wed at Chamber Chatters, Toastmasters Lisa Fairchild kicked off the meeting by asking each of us what we wanted to MANIFEST (WOD) in 2021. Haruka Yamashita gave a speech about how she planned the Halloween Open House. Dara Connolly inspired us with details about how Toastmasters gave her to experience and courage to land 4 TED Talks! Check out her upcoming Confidence Building program in January. Table Topics Master, Joanne Olecko asked our 10 year old guest, Sophie about... what she would want to talk about in a TED talk. Sophie warmed our hearts by saying make sure people would not be hungry. No surprise that she won our poll for our favorite TT answer! Club President Dara Connolly reminded us that we have only 3 meetings left this year (Edit: No meeting Wed Dec 30). Only a few more opportunities to complete your Pathways goals for 2020! Let's do this! Join us any Wed from noon to 1 pm!
