Garth Kasiner Racing Sweeps Plaza Park Raceway and Lemoore Raceway for 21st and 22nd Win of 2015! Story by Walker Racing Promotions (Bryan Lugo Photography) Lem...oore, CA | August 13, 2015 Kicking off the King of California chase at Plaza Park Raceway and Lemoore Raceway this past weekend, Garth Kasiner turned in the perfect weekend as he swept both nights of action and extended his already dominant point lead. Pulling the doubleheader in his Kasiner Farms No. 21G, the Riverdale native went on to lead every single lap of Friday’s feature and made a late-race pass on Saturday as he earned his 21st and 22nd win of the season. With the first race of the nine-race chase for the King of California crown being held at Plaza Park on Friday night, Kasiner started things off with a first place and fourth place showing in heat race action. Rolling out on the pole for the main event, Garth Vader would ensue to dominate the 20-lapper as he led from green to checkered and earned his 21st victory by a long shot. Carrying his momentum into Saturday at Lemoore, the nine-year old wheelman picked up two second place runs in his heat races as he earned a fifth place starting spot in the feature. Biding his time on his run to the front, Kasiner slowly worked his way through the top five and slid his way into second at the halfway mark. Reeling in the race leader and patiently stalking him down, Kasiner made his move on lap 16 as he took over the top spot and never looked back for his 22nd win of the year. The phenomenal weekend only strengthened Kasiner’s already impressive point lead for the track championships at Plaza Park and Lemoore as well as for the King of California chase. Taking the upcoming weekend off, you’ll see the Kasiner Racing team return next weekend for another Plaza/Lemoore doubleheader as they chase down the trio of titles in 2015. The action kicks off in just one week at Dixon Speedway on July 8th before moving on to Delta, Plaza Park, and Lemoore. Competitors will be given a specific sticker pack to place on their cars at all rounds of the event, starting at Dixon. Non-Wing cars will be required to run event stickers on their lower right rear and on the top left of their chassis.
