UPDATE: On Friday, May 14, 2021, at approximately 6:30pm, another theft occurred at this location involving the same suspects driving the same suspect vehicle. The suspects are using license plates stolen from vehicles from other cities. In the latest incident, the victim left her purse in her vehicle and left the windows down while she went into the business. When the victim returned, her purse was gone. Surveillance video showed the suspect vehicle park behind the victim's ...vehicle. The female suspect exited the suspect vehicle, which was being driven by the male suspect. The female suspect then went out of camera view behind the gas pump, then returned to the suspect vehicle, which drove off. This is a reminder to secure your vehicle, even if you are next to it pumping gas. If you must leave your vehicle unattended, please make sure it is locked, the windows are rolled up, and your keys and other valuables are in your possession. **************************************************************************************************** On Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at approximately 4:35pm, the victim was at the ARCO gas station located on the 100 block of E Yorba Linda Blvd when her purse was taken from her vehicle. Less than twenty minutes later, the victim’s bank reported attempted fraudulent charges on her credit cards at least two different businesses in Fullerton. The suspect vehicle pictured above, being driven by Suspect 1 and bearing a license plate of CA/7DQH132 (plate reported missing/stolen out of Whittier), stopped next to the victim’s vehicle at the gas pump, and Suspect 1 went inside to the cashier. It appears that the theft occurred as Suspect 1 was returning to the suspect vehicle and as the victim got out of her vehicle to disconnect the gas nozzle. It is believed Suspect 2 exited the suspect vehicle and removed the victim’s purse from her vehicle, but the actual theft was not seen on video. SUSPECT 1: Male, light complexion, dark hair, tattoos on both upper arms, wearing a black Chicago White Sox baseball cap, a face mask, a white t-shirt, gray/black pants, and black and white Nike shoes.
