Today Creekside Panthers "clouded out drugs!" Check out our word cloud for each grade level on favorite Disney movies. Tomorrow's theme will be "May the Force be with you to be Drug-Free!" Send your pictures to your advisory teacher of you in your Star Wars gear.

Just a reminder that the yearbook staff is looking to collect photos from students and parents. Each month will have 3-4 topics. Photos of past months can be sent anytime. Info on ordering yearbooks will be coming soon.

Next week CMS will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week Virtually through a Disney theme. Please encourage your student to participate in the activities and themed days. Pictures and winners will be posted throughout the week. So stay tuned!

Friday, October 16, marks the end of the first grading period. Progress reports for the first grading period will be finalized early next week and mailed to parents or guardians on Thursday, October 22nd. The progress report will indicate whether the student is in danger of failing a class by the end of the semester. Parents and guardians who access their Aeries accounts will be able to see their student's grades as well. During this grading period, parent-teacher conference...s will not be held in the same format as in years past. We will have a week of appointments available for parents whose student(s) is struggling to maintain a C or better in any of their classes. Parents and guardians are encouraged to reach out to teachers and set up appointments during the teacher's office hours. Appointments can be set up through Parent Square. Dear Parents and Guardians: If positive COVID-19 cases continue to decline in Stanislaus County, it is possible that schools will be able to reopen under the guidance provided by the California Department of Public Health. Our district has outlined the protocols and procedures we have put in place to prepare for a safe and healthy return to in-person instruction for our students. Please review the plan contained in our waiver application on our district web page at patterson....k12.ca.us. We recognize that parents and students have very different opinions about returning to in-person instruction. The California Department of Public Health provides clear guidelines for when schools may re-open, but local school districts have discretion in how the reopening will occur. Your feedback is very important; therefore, we are asking all parents and guardians of students in grades TK-12 to complete the survey that has been sent through ParentSquare. The results will be shared with our board. Survey will be open until October 13.
