I serve as the NABVETS Inc. Commander of the Othan Mondy Better Life Chapter#72 in San Diego. Entering vaccination area, Receiving my second shot and waiting my 30 minutes to leave. I didn't have any immediate negative reaction from the vaccine.

Today OMBLC #72 held our teleconference chapter meeting. As all are aware, the pandemic is a real challenge. The San Diego VAMC has started vaccinations. Those that are interested you can contact VAMC to register.

When a dark face opens, light seems to go everywhere. James Baldwin September 9, 2020, San Diego, CA, Othan Mondy, Better Life #72, NABVETS, Chapter have lost Treasurer, Brother Michael "Mike" Ward" one important fiber of our Veterans Web that advocate on veterans issues helping to fill the gap in services between the veteran including their families and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Mike Ward (USN-ret.), Shellback, Vietnam Veteran, Acoustic Guitarist, Community Act...ivist that tirelessly volunteered and participated in hours of outreach bringing positive and encouraging messages to those shut-in as well as shut-out of inclusion regarding the Big "Brother or Sister Up the Way." He longed for a light that would teach him, forever and forever, and beyond all question, the way to go; for a power that would bind him, forever and forever, and beyond all crying, to the love of God... For it was time that filled his mind, time that was violent with the mysterious love of God James Baldwin, Go Tell It on the Mountain
