Our hummus is loaded with chickpeas and it has exploded in popularity in recent years due to the rise of plant-based eating and gluten-free diets. Chickpeas, which are legumes, along with lentils, beans, as well as peaslike black-eyed peas and split peasare a strong addition to plant-based and gluten-free diets. Our Traditional and Cilantro-Jalapeno Hummus are a healthy way to fill up on protein and dietary fiber, as well as folate, magnesium, potassium, iron, and vitamins A, E, and C. Eat healthy. We created these for our menu a decade ago when we opened our Mediterranean Fusion Grill (WAkers) location and have remained a fan-favorite for as long as they’ve been around. To celebrate this milestone, we are going to do the friendly thing and share these with you, just as you would amongst friends while dining here with us with this FREE SHAWARMA FRIES GIVEAWAY! Our Tabouleh is made up of several healthy ingredients. Parsley, lemon juice, olive oil, cracked wheat, tomato, cucumber and olive oil. High in fiber because of the bulgur (cracked wheat) and tomato. It’s also an excellent source of monounsaturated fat (from the olive oil), a type of fat that helps decrease blood cholesterol. Don’t forget that it’s always a good idea too supplement a bit of protein (such as one of our delicious kabobs) along with our tabouleh in order to receive a balanced meal with this delicious salad.
