If you become a target, please report this scam to https://www.usa.gov/stop-scams-frauds In response to some of the comments, we have no information to show a database has been hacked. Scammers could very well be casting a wide net to those who have a CCW permit and those who do not. Those involved in fraud aren't always precise, they go phishing hoping to get someone to bite on their line so they can try and swindle you out of money. As a rule for those with a CCW permit or for those looking to get one, you should only be dealing directly with your local law enforcement agency.
