We will be starting a new Wednesday series called A Theology of Money and Stewardship. This will be 6 lessons related to the Christian life and what the Bible says about our financial stewardship. We will discuss topics like personal stewardship of money, finances in family and discipleship, the dangers of loving money, giving and generosity, and other special topics related to the Bible’s perspective on finances. Come join us this Weds for our first study!

In anticipation for the Lord's Day tomorrow, here are some basic truths about Sunday gatherings that are true in any season.

Do you feel stuck in your spiritual life? Or do you lack the motivation to do anything spiritual at all? Sometimes it's the simple things that can help rekindle our drive, move us in the right direction, and help get the ball rolling in spiritual matters. Here are some simple practices that may help light a fire under you when you are stuck in a rut.

The New Year is a good time for us as a church to call a "time out" and make sure that we're all on the same page. Here are some realities and wisdom principles all of us as Christians can remember going into 2021.

Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith (Hebrews 13:7). Pillar is thankful for the life of Dr. Jim Rosscup. He taught two of our pastors when they were in seminary. He was a faithful man who loved the Lord, exemplified excellent scholarship, serious joy, and great humility. While being extremely brilliant he always depended upon the Lord in prayer. He also set an example of loving his wife, even writing a book about her after her passing. Whether or not every member of Pillar knows it, we have benefited from this man and praise God for his life and ministry. To Him alone be the glory, rest peacefully in the presence of God!
