Pilgrim Lutheran 75th Anniversary of Ministry

Getting ready for the Open House event today! Hope to see you there, 4-7 PM at the Chula Vista Women's Club, 397 G Street.

The photo below is a SAMPLE of a commemorative ornament, in celebration of our 75th Anniversary. We have an order of 100 ornaments coming in with our church and information on the hanging plaque. They use a photograph of our church to cut it out and personalize it. Pre-sale orders will be taken beginning Sunday, September 4th for $20 each. If you do not live in the area, we can add shipping and send one (or more) to you. The order is expected to be delivered in time to have them at our Open House and celebration service at the end of the month. Contact the church office, if interested.

We are excited to announce our guest preacher for our anniversary service will be Rev. Dr. Larry Stoterau, president of the pacific Southwest District of LCMS. Also, start thinking about your favorite potluck dish to share. We will have a good old fashioned Lutheran potluck after the service that day! Everyone is welcome, bring family and friends!

You are cordially invited to celebrate our 75 years of ministry on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Chula Vista Women's Club at 357 G Street, Chula Vista. This will be an open house from 4-7 PM with a light buffet, memorabilia, keepsakes, and lots of friends and fellowship. We will have a Divine Service Celebration the following morning, September 25th at 10:00 AM in the Pilgrim sanctuary. Please join us!

We would like to schedule our Gala Dinner in honor of our 75 years of ministry at a time people can come.
